Gathered around the borders of 4 European countries (Germany, Belgium, France & Luxembourg), 7 universities have joined forces in order to provide high-quality study programmes and targetted research. These universities are: Saarland University, Kaiserslautern and Trier in Germany, the universities of Nancy and Metz in France, Liège in Belgium and Luxembourg in the Grand Duchy. UGR facilitates students' mobility between the partner universities, aims to ensure mutual recognition, enhances international cooperation and encourages students/staff to learn the language of the different regions.
